Phil Upton - Singer / Mandolin / Band Leader

 

Heart, soul and beard of the band. A stalwart of the Aussie Bluegrass scene since... quite a while. The extent of the man's knowledge of Bluegrass is freakish and he pens a great song as well.

 

Linda Peterson - Singer / Guitar / Fiddle

 

Picked up the fiddle a little over a year ago. Most recent  and best addition to the band! Beautiful vocals and rapidly becoming a fiddler extrordinare.

 

Gary Browne - Singer / Guitar

 

Along with Phil, Gary Writes tunes. See our listen page. He locks us in with his solid rhythm playing and sings the upper harmony without even tighening his pants.  He's even partial to the occasional lead break.

 

Andrew Fairhurst - Bass / Guitar / Backup

 

Also locks it in with his thumping bass. His voice goes way down low - places none other dare to go. In addition, he  picks a mean Martin and moolights as our guitar tech!

 

Mark Burnett - Banjo / Backup

 

4 years ago went to buy a BBQ  - bought a Banjo instead. Haven't look back. Influenced by anything banjo or bluegrass . Scruggs, Reno, Jim Mills  to name a few. If there's any harmony space you might hear him sing.
